Let’s Talk About It
Sexual Assault Prevention for Middle School Students
Let’s Talk About It is a dynamic, multi-day workshop—offered in three or five one-hour sessions—designed to equip middle school students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to prevent sexual violence and build healthy relationships.
Through interactive activities, students explore what makes relationships healthy and respectful, how to set and respect boundaries, and how to recognize and respond to sexual harassment. Participants also examine the role of media and cultural messages in shaping behaviors, and practice real-life strategies to safely intervene as active bystanders.
Students will learn to:
Recognize healthy vs. unhealthy relationship dynamics
Define and practice consent
Identify sexual harassment, coercion, and assault
Challenge harmful gender norms and media messages
Build empathy for survivors and support peers
Use effective bystander intervention strategies
Access trusted adults and local resources
This program helps young people apply key prevention concepts in real-life scenarios—equipping them to be allies, leaders, and change-makers in their schools and communities.
