Uniting in Action
Sexual Assault Prevention for High School Students
Uniting in Action is a powerful, evidence-informed workshop—offered in a 90-minute or 3-hour format—designed to empower participants to prevent sexual violence and build a culture of safety, respect, and accountability.
Developed in collaboration with students, educators, and experts, this program promotes bystander intervention, supporting survivors, and shifting cultural norms. Through interactive activities and guided discussions, participants build practical skills and confidence to recognize harm and take action.
Participants will learn to:
Define and apply key concepts of consent and healthy relationships
Recognize sexually inappropriate and violent behaviors
Understand the role and impact of positive bystander intervention
Distinguish between flirting and sexual harassment
Develop empathy for survivors and understand their experiences
Respond appropriately to disclosures of harm
Access local resources for survivors and their supporters
This workshop helps participants take an active role in sexual violence prevention—equipping them with the knowledge, tools, and motivation to make a difference in their communities.
